Bed Rest.......

So, I am officially stuck on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. I just thought I would make things more interesting for Sean. Now he can clean the inside of the house, take care of the yard, the dogs, and most importantly, ME. I have been having some problems with my blood pressure and swelling. I am doing fine and am learning how boring sitting around all day can get. I went to the specialist and they looked at Callie. She is GREAT! She is just where she is supposed to be size wise and has not been affected by me. She is a little trooper. We just need her to stay in there for a few more weeks.

The worst part about this whole thing is I don't get to go to Dallas for my shower or my friends shower, which I was looking forward to. I don't get to go to my other shower in Austin either, but I guess it's better to stay at home and make sure that Callie is ok. We are excited for her to be here, but want her to wait a little longer. Thank you to everyone who has called or gone out of their way to be there for us. We appreciate it more than you can imagine! Thanks for everything and we can't wait to share our little girl with the world.

Thanks!

Sean cooked on Sunday for an early birthday and everyone came over. It was fun! So glad we got to see everyone! Thanks to my girls for my gifts. You all know what I need! Congratulations to some of my other girls! I think there were more pregnant girls here than non pregnant people. I love having friends going through the same thing. And, precious Peyton came over with my favorite new mom.... We have a baby shower this weekend that Sean's moms friends are having for me. It should be fun. I can't wait. And we don't know how to thank everyone enough for everything they do for us.

30 Weeks And counting....

So we are almost 31 weeks and I am definitely starting to count down the days and get antsy. I am having some serious swelling problems and poor Sean has taken on all of my tasks around the house on top of all of the work he does aroung here! Poor guy! He is a trooper though. We started going to the doctors every two weeks now and I really hope that last few weeks go by quickly.
My parents come home in a month! I am so excited and so are our dogs! They love my dad! He treats them better than anyone.
My cousins got to go to Italy and visit my parents this past week and it was so fun to talk to them while they were with my parents and see what they thought about all the cool things we have already seen. I hope they had a blast!
The countdown has definetely begun for me! Our friends just had their twins and it makes me even more excited! They came a little early, but everyone is doing well! I try to say a little prayer for them every day that maybe they will get to go home early. Congrats Matt and Carrie on your sweet Kinsey and Ethan!

Before And After

Once the pool is clean and full we will put up some better pictures, but I thought even this showed what a difference the tile made!

Sean and His Projects.....

Sean has been working on some interesting projects around the house the past few months. We were lucky enough to have a slab leak that left some large holes in our laundry room and kitchen. My dad convinced him that it was a good idea to have somebody do the kitchen repairs, so those are done, but Sean is still in the process of his other projects. He is redoing the laundry room and I think it is going to turn out really neat. He decided that once there were a bunch of holes in it, a little makeover wouldn't hurt.
The other project he has been working on is the pool. He is patching the plaster and coating the pool, which isn't interesting, but he also gave the pool a makeover. He chipped out the old tile and put in a new border in the pool. It was a crazy thing to do, but it looks great! Hopefully he will be done soon so we can hang out on the weekends instead of him working!
Other than the chaos he has going on in the house, things are pretty quiet lately.
My cousin Cristin and her husband and Reese are coming in town next week and we can't wait to see them. Hopefully the weather is nice when they are here!

We are working on Callie's bedroom, I mean Sean is working on her bedroom. I can take credit for the ladybug walls, but that's about it. He does all the work around here. I am loving the way it is turning out. He is in the process of putting up some chair molding now, but hasn't finished. My mom got her all of her bedding and accessories for her room and keeps buying her more! She just keeps on shopping, in Italy! Callie is going to have her own special things for her room from Italy, including some ladybugs from Gepetto's Work Shop! We are getting really excited. Sean has been really busy doing crazy things, like retiling the pool and working on the house and the baby room. I don't like for him to have too much free time.......I think I might owe him a really big present after all of this work.
My cousin Alison finds out what her second baby will be on February 6th! We can't wait. I hope we can make it there for the party.
My parents are moving back to the states at the end of March and we can't wait for them to be home. It is really different when your parents live a days worth of flights away. I am excited for them to be home and be able to be here for Callie to arrive. Oh, and they are lots of help, atleast my dad is with the dogs, cooking, and cleaning! We will always need him for that!
